Co-op Ownership Dispute Settled

We commenced a law suit in Manhattan on behalf of our client who had continuously resided in the apartment for many years after the sudden dissolution of the marriage by his spouse.

Schillinger & Finsterwald, persuaded the Court to recognize our client’s claim to sole ownership of the apartment by applying the doctrine of adverse possession.  This finding resulted in a highly favorable settlement for our client.
